How to use an air machine in 6 easy steps
Supporting Customer Safety
Find the correct PSI/Bar for your car in the fuel cap, driver's door frame, handbook, or search online.
Take the caps off each tyre valve
Use the machine buttons to adjust to the required PSI/Bar
Insert money or tap your card to make your payment and start the machine
Take the hose, attach it and push firmly onto the valves and hold until the machine beeps. It may take a moment before you see the PSI/bar number increasing on the machine. Request for each tyre.
Return the hose, replace dust caps and you're ready to go. Drive safely!
Check your tyre pressure

Correctly inflated tyres improve your vehicle’s safety, fuel efficiency, and handling. Under inflated tyres can wear out faster, reduce grip on the road, and increase braking distance, while over-inflated tyres can make your ride uncomfortable and reduce traction. Keeping your tyres at the recommended pressure helps ensure a safer, smoother, and more economical drive.
You should check your tyre pressure at least once a month and before long journeys. Tyres naturally lose air over time, and changes in temperature can affect pressure levels. Regular checks help prevent uneven wear and unexpected issues on the road.
Correct tyre pressure ensures your tyres maintain proper contact with the road. When pressure is incorrect, grip is reduced, braking distances increase, and your vehicle becomes harder to control especially in wet or icy conditions.
Yes. Under-inflated tyres flex more and overheat, while over-inflated tyres reduce the tyre’s contact with the road. Both conditions can significantly increase stopping distances and reduce your ability to brake safely in an emergency.
Absolutely. Under-inflated tyres create more rolling resistance, meaning your engine has to work harder and use more fuel. Keeping tyres correctly inflated can improve fuel efficiency and reduce running costs.
You should regularly check tyre pressure, tread depth, and look for visible damage such as cracks, bulges, or uneven wear. If you notice anything unusual, it’s best to have your tyres inspected by a professional.
Yes. Tyre pressure can drop in colder weather and increase in warmer temperatures. That’s why it’s important to check tyre pressure regularly, especially during seasonal changes.
Yes. Incorrect pressure can make steering feel heavy, unresponsive, or unstable. Properly inflated tyres help ensure predictable handling and better control of your vehicle.
Even if your car is used infrequently, tyres can lose pressure over time and degrade due to age. Regular checks help ensure your vehicle remains safe whenever you do drive.
Regular maintenance keeps your vehicle running safely and efficiently. It helps identify small problems before they turn into costly repairs, improves fuel economy, extends the life of your car, and ensures all critical systems are working properly.
